Vintage character, given a new purpose

This original 1940s metal milk jug has been carefully repurposed into a distinctive candle holder that combines vintage agricultural character with warm ambient light.

The front has been opened to create a generous viewing area for the candle, while the original pouring lip, handle and aged metal finish have been retained. Red detailing around the opening adds contrast and highlights the unusual shape of this genuine reclaimed piece.

It is ideal as a feature for a living room, kitchen, dining area, home bar, workshop or covered entertaining space.

Suitable for small to medium candles

The interior is designed for many small and medium pillar candles, provided the candle fits securely and has suitable clearance from the metal body.

It may also be used with a suitable LED candle where an open flame is not appropriate.

A genuine one-off piece

This is not a reproduction or mass-produced decorative item. It has been made from a genuine vintage milk jug, so marks, welds, surface variation and signs of its previous working life remain visible and form part of its finished character.

Candle safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Place the candle securely on a stable, heat-resistant base and ensure the flame has adequate clearance from the sides and top of the holder.

Keep away from children, pets, draughts and combustible materials. The metal body may become hot during use.

The Revival Shed recommends using a suitable LED candle where an open flame would not be appropriate.
