The Story Behind The Build
At The Revival Shed, I enjoy creating furniture that solves problems while still looking beautiful.
This project was my first ever dining table I made and designed to combine traditional furniture making with practical functionality, allowing one piece of furniture to perform multiple roles without compromising on appearance.
The result is a table that looks perfectly at home in a dining room while offering something extra when friends and family gather together.
The games table part was a request after my eldest son and his wife visited and i heard the words “Dad, that’s a really nice table, can we have it for our new house?” Then after it took the long drive from Hampshire to Scotland, a few months later I had another little request… “Dad, could you make me a really cool games table top please for my card games nights with the boys?”
However, since then, I have been blessed with a grandson, and they need a different table setup and the tables have returned home

Does the games surface fold away?
Yes. The table converts between a dining table and gaming surface depending on how you wish to use it.

Yes. The images show the actual handcrafted piece available for sale.
Can you build a similar table to different dimensions?
