A compact upcycled candle holder with industrial character

This genuine CO₂ fire extinguisher has been carefully transformed into a compact industrial candle holder.

Its original cylindrical shape, projecting CO₂ outlet and signs of its previous working life give it genuine character. The cut opening allows the candlelight to remain visible while retaining the distinctive appearance of the original extinguisher.

It is ideal for anyone looking for unusual home décor, workshop styling, bar decoration or a practical feature made from reclaimed materials.

Suitable for small to medium candles

The internal space is suitable for many small and medium pillar candles, provided the candle fits securely and has adequate clearance from the metal body.

Suitable LED candles can also be used where an open flame is not appropriate.

Wall-mounting point

The extinguisher retains a wall-mounting point, allowing it to be displayed securely on a suitable wall as well as positioned as a freestanding decorative piece where stable.

A wall hook and mounting fixings are not included. The correct fixing will depend on the wall construction, the finished weight of the candle holder and the intended position.

Always use appropriately rated fixings and seek competent advice where necessary.

This is not a mass-produced reproduction. It has been made from a genuine reclaimed fire extinguisher, so marks, surface variation and signs of its previous life form part of its finished appearance.

Candle safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

The candle must sit securely on a stable, heat-resistant base with adequate clearance around the flame. Keep the candle holder away from children, pets, draughts and combustible materials.

If wall mounted, ensure that the fixing is secure and that there is safe clearance above and around the flame.

The Revival Shed recommends using a suitable LED candle where an open flame would not be appropriate.
