Beach-found driftwood with natural character

This distinctive candle holder began as a naturally weathered piece of driftwood found on the beach.

It immediately stood out because of its sculptural shape, deep natural texture and an unexpectedly fresh, lemon-like scent when first collected. The timber was then left to dry naturally for approximately six to nine months before being carefully prepared and turned into a three-tealight candle holder.

The result is a simple but highly individual piece that preserves the shape, grain and character created by time, water and weather.

Three tealight positions

Three recessed positions have been created across the timber to hold standard metal-cupped tealights or suitable LED tealights.

The spacing allows the light to spread across the natural surface, highlighting the grain, ridges and weathered texture of the driftwood.

Completely unique

No moulds, reproductions or manufactured timber have been used.

The shape, cracks, grain, colour variation and weathering are all natural features of the original driftwood. These variations are part of the finished design rather than faults.

Candle safety

Driftwood is a natural combustible material, so candle safety is particularly important.

Only use correctly sized tealights contained within their original metal cups or suitable heat-resistant holders. Ensure each tealight sits securely inside its recess and does not directly contact the timber.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep the candle holder away from children, pets, draughts and combustible objects.

For the safest everyday use, LED tealights are strongly recommended.

Indoor use

This candle holder is intended primarily for dry indoor use.

Avoid prolonged exposure to rain, moisture, strong direct sunlight or significant temperature changes, as natural timber may move, crack or change colour over time.

Delivery or collection

This is a lightweight but irregularly shaped one-off item. Delivery will depend on its final packed weight and dimensions.

Collection may also be available by prior arrangement.
