Returns & Refunds Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Overview
At The Revival Shed, we want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains your rights and our procedures regarding returns, refunds, replacements and cancellations.
Personalised and Custom-Made Products
Many products sold by The Revival Shed are personalised or custom-made to your specification.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Personalised slate gifts
- Pet portrait slates
- QR code products
- Custom engraved items
- Bespoke commissioned items
Under UK consumer legislation, personalised or custom-made products are generally exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period once production has begun.
For this reason, personalised orders cannot normally be cancelled, returned or refunded unless:
- The item is faulty
- The item is damaged in transit
- We have made an error in the personalisation
Please check all names, dates, spelling, images and information carefully before placing your order.
Standard Products
Where a product is not personalised, custom-made or made to order, you may have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods in accordance with UK consumer law.
The item must be returned unused and in its original condition.
Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Damaged or Faulty Items
If your order arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Where possible, please provide:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photographs showing the damage or fault
Depending on the circumstances, we may offer:
- A replacement
- A repair
- A full or partial refund
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
Incorrect Orders
If we have supplied an item that differs from your confirmed order, please contact us promptly.
Where an error has been made by The Revival Shed, we will work with you to provide an appropriate remedy, which may include replacement, correction or refund.
Customer Errors
The Revival Shed cannot accept responsibility for errors in information supplied by customers.
This includes:
- Spelling mistakes
- Incorrect names
- Incorrect dates
- Incorrect QR code information
- Incorrect Wi-Fi details
- Incorrect uploaded images or artwork
Customers are responsible for checking all information before submitting an order.
Furniture and Large Items
Many furniture items are unique, handmade or one-off creations.
Customers should inspect furniture upon delivery or collection and notify us promptly of any concerns.
Natural variations in reclaimed timber, grain patterns, colour, texture and character marks are part of the nature of handmade furniture and are not considered defects.
Collection Orders
For orders collected in person, customers are responsible for inspecting items before taking possession.
Risk transfers to the customer upon collection.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will normally be processed using the original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
