First Table
The first Table I made myself will always be a special one. And this has certainly also been on it’s travels too.
When I moved into an unfurnished house a week into the first lockdown, I decided to make myself a country style table, and when visitors were allowed, I had a visit from my son and his partner. ” Hey dad, that’s a nice table”………. and you can guess the rest. It made it’s way up to Scotland !
Alas, after two house moves and starting a new family, they wanted a different sort of table for their house, so recently, the table along with it’s huge games table topper have been repatriated to England.
This is made of scaffolding boards along with some pin legs, and I have protected the wood with hardwearing Danish oil.
It measures 1.5m wide x 86cm deep and 75cm tall – and can sit 4 – 6 people

And of course, as they were made to go together, this is what it looks like with the games table top
The Games top surface can take the giant 180 x 90 neoprene games matts, albeit it have been given a green felt surface.
As it is such a great size, it is perfect for bigger games with lots of people such as dungeons and dragons sessions too.
