Dad’s Desk- aka (Thank flip that old desks is gone)

When I finally convinced dad to get another computer, something simple and all in one, it offered the perfect excuse to get rid of an abominasion , and also a cluttered desk that just too big for the room.

So with a sleek new computer came an angled floating desk to make much better use of space in a living room.

The wood used was reclaimed from a building site, and a hole large enough for plugs to go through was put into the corner to aid cable management. I have also used Danish oil to to protect the wood and not give any of those hot cup circles.
