I couldn’t resist an upcycling project
This 150L tank was part of a nitrogen generator in a pharmaceutical laboratory, however it became slightly rusty inside, so was unable to be used as part of their their chromatography analysis.
As soon as I saw it in Cambridge, I didn’t see it as waste, I had some imagination.
150L steel receiver tank, with 8 peices of burnt wood joined to make a surface. The coins are submerged into the face with some copper/silver glitter behind them, then covered with epoxy resin
Overall, this coffee table is 55cm high. 126cm wide and 50cm deep, but it weighs circa 80Kg.
