Wih this coffee table, I used one of my beer barrels and painted it black, but went into the back of my shed to find a very old experiment for the table top.
True to using / recycling as much as possible, a few years ago, I was working with a lot of pallet wood, and made a double layer section of wood for something, but then it was sat aside. With a shape almost like that of an eye, I thought it was too unusual not to use for something like this.
