When life gives you lemons, you make a gin and tonic, but when life gives you a table with four matching chairs, then what is to do ?

Well, you try out something you’ve wanted to try for ages, but with a twist.

This one glows gently in the dark like a plasma cloud.

By removing most of the top, I painted white gloss paint inside, then a nice sprinkling of blue glitter and filled it with all the 2p coins I could find.

That on it’s own would be fine, but in shed world, I think there is always a way to notch it up a bit.   So armed with some aqua blue glow in the dark pigment, I put in a layer of glow in the dark resin in between the coins before the clear layer on top.

So when the lights go out, all you can see is a gently plasma like glow, and it’s super cool to sit at in the dark over a bottle of wine.  Though frankly even a swish SLR camera couldn’t get the exposure to get it as a pic.

And as I always like to keep a little story about the fun of making it, you can share in that too.
